Directed by Budd Boetticher - starring Audie Murphy
Audie Murphy, just outta' prison for being in the wrong place at the wrong time falls back in with the wrong crowd, and finds love. Together they rob banks and live in a cool cave and they are friends with a Mexican girl and a black family man which is refreshing for a western of this vintage.
*SPOILERS*
With the promise of being laid and a ranch to go along with it (!) Audie reluctantly walks into the law's hands, "Don't worry, it'll be over before you know it." (?) Murphy gets to show his nipples and clothes are forever clean.
A quick pace and a lot of fun but only a hint of Budd's later work with Randolph Scott.
